Perfect bindings - using PUR or hotmelt adhesive technology – are produced on two new Publica threadless binding lines (15 + 30 stations, 15,000 cycles/hour) and a Kolbus Ratiobinder (30 stations, 8,000 cycles/hour, installed early 2008). Schomaker also rely on state-of-the-art technology wherever gather-stitching is called for. A Heidelberg ST 400 wire stitching machine and a new shrink-wrap line are used for packing catalogues to be individually shrink-wrapped or prepared (with label or on-printing) for piggyback shipment.

Schomaker were the co-founders of SchoPa in Poland in 1990. This subsidiary operates 5 fully automatic and about 150 semi-automatic machines, covering the entire spectrum of index-cutting. All our facilities are fully networked, thus enabling the production of medium to large-scale volumes of adhesive bindings, index punching and saddle stitching.

You can rely on Schomaker to process your catalogues, price lists, telephone directories, magazines, business reports, Swiss brochures, etc. to your full satisfaction.
